The partnership with the automation technology manufacturer – BMO Automation is intended to address customer feedback that says finding qualified machinists is the number one impediment to growth.
Hurco Companies Inc. is partnering with BMO Automation. The Hurco/BMO Automation partnership is intended to provide customers with a tested automation solution that requires minimal integration and provide increase productivity without disruption.
“Our customers tell us that finding qualified machinists is the primary impediment to their companyies’ growth,” says Paul Gray, vice president of R&D and product development at Hurco. “The formation of this preferred partnership with BMO is another way we can help our customers identify meaningful technologies and automation packages to solve the problems they face on a daily basis.”
BMO Automation, based in the Netherlands, focuses on high-mix/high-volume production to help manufacturers deal with the skills gap and labor shortage, and increase productivity of their CNC machines, as the company puts it.
