The European tool, pattern and mould making industry is meeting in Stuttgart in 2021. The organisers of Moulding Expo already report the registration of the first key players of the industry.
The preparations for Moulding Expo, International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making, which will be held at Messe Stuttgart from 8 to 11 June 2021, are gathering momentum: not only is the project team already in the middle of the planning stage, the first companies such as Cirp GmbH, Ewikon Heißkanalsysteme GmbH, FKT Formenbau und Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Fraisa GmbH, Gubesch Prototypes & Tools GmbH, Gühring KG, HG Hans Geiger Spritzgießtechnik GmbH, Lucchini RS S.p.A, Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG, PWB Presswerkzeugbau Großdubrau GmbH, Rampf Tooling Solutions GmbH & Co. KG, Roth Werkzeugbau GmbH, Siemens AG, Trimill a.s., and many more have also already secured their stand location.
Moulding Expo is regarded as the most important European event for the tool, pattern and mould making industry, the organisers explain. Tool, pattern and mould making companies, as well as their suppliers will present the entire spectrum of production in one of the strongest industrial regions in Europe and will therefore provide potential business partners and customers with an extensive overview of the latest product developments and the most innovative production processes.
“Especially in view of the current challenges, Moulding Expo can boost the industry next year by bringing all players together again in one place,” said Florian Niethammer, Team Director at Messe Stuttgart. “Interested exhibitors can now already secure their stand location without commitment — their booking will only become binding with the stand confirmation notice,” added Niethammer.
Moulding Expo has become one of the main contact and exchange platforms for the tool, pattern and mould making industry. Niethammer: “The best companies in the industry exhibit in Stuttgart. They meet highly qualified visitors here who are seeking solutions for specific projects.” The exhibitors at the trade fair also appreciate the effective and uncomplicated networking opportunities: “The contacts we made at Moulding Expo have really helped us a lot. Whether purchasers, developers or product designers, the visitors come from the most diverse industries and areas,” said the exhibitor Eva Söhnlein from HG Hans Geiger Spritzgießtechnik GmbH.
The experiences from previous event years and reports from the industry show that exhibiting suppliers also benefit from the various contact opportunities at Moulding Expo because at no other specialist event in this area can they meet so many tool, pattern and mould making companies, according to the organisers. “Whether machine operators, managing directors, manufacturing managers or production managers, everyone comes to Moulding Expo. The trade fair offers a very broad spectrum in the field of tool and mould making, but also 3D printing,” said Udo Hipp from Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG.
Attractive parallel events will also be staged again in 2021: in addition to the Plastic Products Forum of GKV TecPart and the Automotive Shows of UKi Media & Events, visitors to Moulding Expo 2021 will also be able to take advantage of different synergies at Castforge, Trade fair for Castings and Forgings with Processing.
