Industrial production in Croatia grew by 4.7 percent in January compared to the same month last year.
According to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), industrial production, according to calendar-adjusted data, jumped by 9.6 percent in January compared to the previous month and compared to January 2018 by 4.7 percent .
This is the first annual growth in production after six consecutive falls, which is why it was 1 percent less than a year ago. Thus, in 2018, the first drop in industrial production was recorded after four years of growth.
In January, production of intermediate products grew by 10.4 percent, followed by the production of non-durable consumer goods with a growth of 10.1 percent.
Energy production grew by 1.4 percent.
