As part of the 3DoP project (Optimisation of Production by 3D Printing), where Rijeka Development Agency Porin is the sole Croatian partner, a public call has been announced for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop or commercialize innovative products or processes using additive manufacturing technologies.
This call provides interested participants with direct access to resources, experts, services, and technological solutions developed by project partners. The initiative aims to create new business opportunities and attract investments.
Participants will play a key role in the commercialisation of innovative technological solutions developed through the project, contributing to the strengthening of additive technologies in Croatia and across the European Union.
The partners within the 3DoP consortium have developed a variety of technological solutions in the field of additive manufacturing and numerous services that support the continued growth of the manufacturing industry at the European Union level.
By participating in the public call, companies will have the opportunity to:
- Test advanced solutions in real-world conditions.
- Collaborate with project partners to develop new ideas.
- Access financial resources to support innovation.
- Receive tailored mentorship and technical support to enhance business operations.
Technical and Non-Technical Services
Within the public call, companies with innovative ideas and projects can choose between technical and non-technical services.
Technical services encompass eight solutions, including various production technologies in the fields of 3D printing with metals and polymers, automation, electronics, and innovations in the dental industry.
On the other hand, non-technical services offer the opportunity to test and validate the most advanced 3D printing technologies developed within the project, collaborate directly with partner companies to develop complementary solutions and initiate innovative projects, secure funding opportunities, and receive customised training for market placement of technologies related to additive manufacturing.
Collaborate, Test, Innovate!
The services available to selected companies are highly specialized and completely free of charge. Once an application is submitted, accepted, and selected, the chosen companies will receive additional support in the form of mentorship and consultations from the project’s expert partners on various aspects of their concepts.
Benefits for companies include:
- Validation and testing: Testing technical solutions in real-world conditions to identify potential market segments.
- Collaboration: Working with other innovative companies from the European Union to develop complementary solutions and launch new projects.
- Identification of financial opportunities: Finding public and private financial resources to support innovation efforts.
- Personalized coaching: Accessing technical guidance and training to make informed investment decisions, revising business plans, and refining financing strategies.
Apply by February 4, 2025, and seize the opportunity to innovate and grow your business!
About the 3DoP Project: Optimisation of Production by 3D Printing
3DoP – Optimisation of Production by 3D Printing aims to support industrial growth and innovation through collaboration among regions in European macro-regions.
With the participation of 33 partners, 3DoP offers a wide range of advanced 3D printing solutions and support for manufacturing companies across the European Union. The project is designed to eliminate barriers such as high costs, the need for improved quality, lack of automation, and better digital integration that hinder the widespread adoption of this technology by small and medium-sized enterprises.
The project’s innovative approach includes:
- Developing an integrated innovation and investment ecosystem framework.
- Creating targeted technical solutions.
- Activating sustainable investment chains.
